Unusual Coin Found..Is it Valuable?

I was a store and received change. The change I got was a coin that was two-sided. One side is a dime (1947), and one side of it is a wheatback penny. It looks really strange. Anybody know if there is any value to this?

If it's a true dime w/ a penny back, it's probably worth something.

Worst case scenario, it's made of silver, you should save it for sure. Especially since people are melting down the older coins that were actually made of precious metals so they're becoming scarce.

Ya there's a value of 10 cents if they think it's a dime, and 1 cent if they think it's a penny. =)
No, it's a coin made for the magicians who do %26quot;close up%26quot;. It's part of a trick called %26quot;scotch and soda%26quot;.
This doesn't sound like anything that could happen as a mistrike. It may be a prank.
There is no way the mint can make such a coin. It is a novelty item and is used in magic tricks. The cent was hollowed out so the dime would fit into it. It is an interesting conversation piece though.
